Suggest Treatment For Hearing Loss In The Left Ear
I have been completely without hearing in my left ear for four days now. I had not noticed any problems or difficulty prior to that and I cannot pinpoint an event or moment that precipitated my hearing loss. There is no pain, no discharge and no discomfort. I do, however, feel pressure, hear ringing and cannot hear at all on my left side. What do you think the problem could likely be?
Hello
Thanks for posting your query here.
Sudden hearing loss can due to infection, mucus collection inside ear drum , ear wax or nerve related. Any how you have to get examined by an ENT doctor. Please do the same. Had I been your doctor, I would have thought of hearing tests and tympanogram after thorough examination. Treatment will be according to the cause of problem.
