Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I understand your concern and would explain that chronic changes in the heart could be related to coronary artery disease. In such case a better control of cardiovascular risk factors (high blood pressure, obesity, smoking, diabetes if present, etc.) is necessary to stop the progression of such changes. Anyway, I would like to directly review your cardiac ultrasound report for a more professional opinion. I would also recommend using a betablocker if you have palpitations related to the increased heart rate.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
