Suggest Treatment For Heavy Bleeding And Abnormal Periods

I got an iud done on march 8 of this year and after it was put in i started to bleed heavly for 10 days with alot of cramping and i had the iud for up to 1 1/2 months with alot of problems with the iud in. so i got it removed sometime in may of this year and i bleed heavly for 10 days with alot of blood clots. I took pills that my doctor gave me, cause it felt like inside like i was startig my first period. i did alot of online searches and they told me that i can expect my normal period cycle within three months. I still havent got a period. can you help????

Hello,

As you have bleeding after IUD, it is better use alternative method of contraception like condom, Oral contraceptive pills et cetera. You can take tablet Pause and keep yourself hydrated.

Generally, periods come within 3 to 4 months after IUD removal, but it varies sometimes. So, don't worry. I will suggest you to consult with gynecologist for detailed examination.
