Suggest Treatment For Heavy Vaginal Bleeding While On Implanon

I had the Implanon inserted 1/15/07 and it was time to come out this year. I don't have ins but my dr. told me it was no longer active so it was no rush to remove. I have had vaginal bleeding for about 2 1/2 years and now every 2-3 weeks my bleeding gets really heavy and I pass large blood clots. I don't know what else to do. I have 4 normal births, I am 30 yrs old and in good health; I do have lupus though.
