Suggest Treatment For Heel Pain

My son who is ten years old was having severs disease two months back and was having pain in left heel. He was advised to have hill cup in both leg. Now he is completely free from heel pain (severs disease) but facing another problem in left leg in form of ankle swelling. We tried lot to recover swelling with Hot Water and other homely things but still swelling is there and have been having pain and difficulty in daily routine procedures. Please advise.
