Suggest Treatment For Hematoma On The Side Of Body

I had a double her a surgery 3 weeks ago. I found out today that I have a hematoma on my left side. Is there anything that I should be doing to help with the discomfort? My doctor and I decided to wait 3 weeks to see if it would shrink. Is this a good idea?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The hematoma on the side of the body usually subside by its own in two weeks time. Nothing to be panic, you can wait and see. Mean while you can give hot and cold fomentation over the affected area.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
