Suggest Treatment For Hemorrhoids With Yellow Mucus Discharge In Anus
Hi, I ve been diagnosed to have hemorrhoids about a month ago. I followed the diet my doctor had given me and used every ointment and tablet. My hemorrhoids have become so much better but that yellow mucus still leaks out of my anus. What can I do to make it go away?
Hi, Thanks for writing to HCM. Most cases of hemorrhoids can be treated effectively with diet, good hygiene and topical medications. Since you are complaining of leaking of yellow mucus out of your anus, it indicates that the hemorrhoids might have been infected. Although the symptoms have been better, it would be advisable for you to undergo surgery as this may lead to further complications. Ointment and tablets prescribed might not help you much in the long run. Hence you need to get evaluated and undergo 'hemorrhoidectomy' so that you would be relieved of all your symptoms. Kindly consult Surgeon in this regard for appropriate management. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
