Suggest Treatment For Herniated Disc Bulge

I have just had an mri and my results will be forwarded to my consultant asap. They did however give me the images on disc. I have had a look on the internet and it looks like i haveherniated disc bulge between c3 and c4. I have been off work for 2 weeks already, should i try and go in Monday or can i get a Doctors note for a furter week?
