Suggest Treatment For Herniated Discs In L1, L3 And L5

I have just been diagnosed via a CT Scan with 3 herniated discs in L1, L3, AND either L5 or L7 (not sure I was listening well at this point). I ve got a tremendous amount of pain in my right leg from hip to top of foot. I was just advised to go on Medical Unemployment Insurance, I have been working with an Physio Therapist for the the last month/month.5, and although progress has been made the cause of the problem was not know, exactly, until this week. I m taking Tordals for the pain, but they aren t much relief. I m just wondering what to do next? It s going to take time to get in to see a specialist like yourself, so what can I do to relieve the pain now?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that you got Sciatica pain due to pinched nerve pressure by herniated discs.
Consult orthopedic surgeon and get examined.
Physiotherapy, short way diathermy and lumbar traction as advised by specialist will give you much relief.
Do back extension exercises daily.
Take Calcium and B1, B6, B12 medicine.
Ok and take care.
