Suggest Treatment For Herpes Inside Nose With Dryness

my daughter has herpes inside her nose and on the side of it. we have been fighting this for over 3 years now. she takes acyclovir for this, although its seems to make it better, but it never completely goes away? she is 12 years old and is very self conscious about it. I am wondering of any better medication or alternative?
it seems to get worse overnight when her nose dries out from sleeping?

You may want to consider an assessment by an ENT doctor, if not already done, to confirm the diagnosis.

There are other antiviral medications such as valacyclovir and famciclovir. If the diagnosis is confirmed,then her doctor may want to consider one of these alternatives.
