Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Tablet Valtrex and Ciprofloxacin are alright to treat Genital Herpes recurrence. But the dosage is very important. Anything less than a gram of Valtrex twice a day would not be effective. The same has to be continued till a total healing occurs ( usually longer duration when the CD4 count is low).
If you are having allergic contact dermatitis to metal condom ring then the treatment is entirely different. Your physician would be able to judge the exact treatment for you.
