Suggest Treatment For Herpes

If I have ringworms on my arm, when showering and using the same clothes washing my vaginal area can it infect me down there? Anytime I have ringworms I get a sore on my vagina. But it only stays for 2 days and go. I have herpes 2 but I m on the medicine. My doctor said if the pills didn t work then it must not be herpes. I get the ringworms anytime I go to my sisters house where there s dogs. Can you help?

Hi.
As per your case history you are having herpes genitalis, my treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an antiviral medication like acyclovir 400mg thrice daily for 5 days.
4. Other treatment options are topical acyclovir, oral NSAID given only after consulting a dermatologist.
