Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my father age 83 with a history of high blood pressure, diabetic, congestive heart failure, and pacemaker has a reading of 143/66 with a heart rate of 112.......should I be concerned ? he called his doctor, and his vitals were performed on his home machine hooked up to the VA clinic of New York. He has some gas but appears OK.
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
As I see through the reports the blood pressure is highly elevated . The heart rate is also elevated. It should be lower than 100 per minute. I recommend to see a cardiologist for a specific treatment.
Hope my answer was helpful.
If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.
Kind regards!
Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi General &Family Physician
