Suggest Treatment For High BP And Anxiety

I am 67 years old and have had high blood pressure for about 10 years and it has worked find. I took my blood pressure a few days ago and my left arm was about 20 points below the right arm. The points are the first ones I m referring to. I did it today and the same thing happened. The difference is about 102 vs 120. Yes, I smoke and trying to quit. I know I should see a doctor and will make an appointment tomorrow, but getting an appointment with my PCP and then he ll send me to a heart doctor will take time, weeks, months, etc. I suffer from anxiety and I m really scared to death. I ve cut my HBP medicine in half and after a week nothing has changed.

First you have to calm down because you have nothing urgent
Even if blood pressure is different in arms the pathologies which cause that doesn't need urgent treatment
You need to schedule an cardiac ultrasound (echo cardiography)
If it is normal you are fine and you have nothing to worry about
