Suggest Treatment For High BP And Hypothyroidism

My bp has been too high for my comfort level (151/102). I am a healthy 51 year old female with no medical history, other that hypothyroidism. I currently take Leovothyroxine 100mcg 1 tab daily. I went to urgent care with my concern, as I feel I couldn t catch my breath, although no chest pain & O2 sat 98/99% room air. They performed an EKG, which was normal. So, the nurse practitioner took a metabolic panel & checked my thyroid levels. Still waiting on the lab work results from yesterday. If the labs are wnl s, I was told to f/u with my PCP in 1 week. Should I wait that long with a bp this high?
