Suggest Treatment For High BP

I have high blood pressure. And lately its been really high. Im on lebetalol 200 mg 3 times a day. My blood pressure has been ranging around 197/124 at its highest and lowest being 158/118. Cant seem to get it lower than that. Today I woke up it was 165/118 and my left side of my face is all swelled. What is going on with me??

I have gone through your query.Labetalol i usually give for pregnant women with hypertension.If you were my patient i treat with Angiotensin receptor blocker like olmmesartan.With this your heart and kidneys also will be protected from pathological remodelling .If not getting control along with that i add amlodipine or nebivalol or diuretic like hydrochlorthiazide along with that.Lipid profile and blood sugar should be checked also.If cholesterol is high statins also should be added.Hope this may help you.
