Suggest Treatment For High BP
I am calmly sitting with my husband eating lunch I felt shaky I took my pulse it is 108 my blood pressure is pretty normal although last night it was hi. This morning it was 125 / 80 and my pulse was 95 now my pulse shows a hundred eight beats for 60 seconds last night my blood pressure was 178 over 109 usually I run on the low side of normal nothing in my diet has changed a lot of stress from my husband having a stroke in December and I have a possible bladder / kidney infection can I take antibiotics and get some milk thistle I cannot see a doctor right now I don t have insurance or money for it and I m caregiver for my husband what is the best thing for me to do at home please Thank You candy

Raised blood pressure on two or more occasions of value more than 140/90 mm Hg should be diagnosed as hypertension.Kindly take a repeat blood pressure after an hour and check the values.In case of raised values,kindly reduce salt and oily food intake.Avoid stress and carry out mild physical activity of 20 minutes every day.
Calcium channel blockers such as amlodipine should be started in order to reduce the blood pressure.This drug is not very costly and is available in all pharmacies.
