General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, the persistent fever with raised ESR indicates ongoing inflammation in the body like

- lymphatic obstruction lower limb
- bacterial or fungal infection
- part of systemic sepsis
- kidney function issues
- tuberculosis
- others

However, a series of lab data, doppler ultrasound of both lower limbs are mandatory for further guidelines at this point.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
