Suggest Treatment For High Blood Pressure

My mother in law - 73, shd is 5 2' at 125lbs, she goes to the gym 2x a week, her blood pressure today was again high today at 172/110 with HB of 64, last week it was 156/90, I know this is not good but she feels fine, we are changing up her diet with more of a raw food diet in the AM, and heathly lunch / dinners. She really dispises taking meds. Advice / suggestions?

HI
Well come to HCM
In my opinion clinical examination is must, because looking to the reading of blood pressure certain test need to be done to rule out the underlying cause of high blood pressure and this includes EKG, ECHO, and ultrasonography, renal function test, then and then it would be advisable to start the antihypertensive drug, hope this information helps.
