Suggest Treatment For High Blood Pressure,irregular Heart Beat And Sinusitis

Hi I am 56 years old . I have high blood pressure , irregular heart beats benign, sinus events, allergic to sulfa medications, have asthma, hyperactive thyroid and graves disease, allergic to nifedipine. I have tried 6 pills , 4 different types of high blood pressure pills, nothing is working. been at the hospital from all of this. my pharmacist gave me the wrong pill to take. I just found out i am allergic to sulfa drug myself. I am at my wits end. Even the google search engine cannot help me. thanks

Hi,

First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, with the history of asthma and allergies to nifedipine you can use non-dihydropyridine type calcium channel blockers like verapamil for A-fib and hypertension. Alongside diuretics can be used safely. Beta blockers may better be avoided keeping asthma in the view. The root cause seems to be hyperthyroidism so you should better discuss radioiodine therapy to get rid of this issue once and for all.
