Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello,

From the available description, it is possible that child is suffering from either meningitis or encephalitis which is kind of serious central nervous system infection. There is a need to visit the ER as soon as possible and I think LP should be done to obtain CSF and further examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashok Kumar, Psychiatrist
