Suggest Treatment For High Fever And Strep Infection In A Child

Granddaughter age 2 history of very high fevers, pylonephritis, septis, ear infections, strep infections and high fever of unknown cause. Had recent labs after spiking fever of 105 dx fever of unknown cause fever lasted 5 days and ran between 100 to 105. Recent blood work show: wbc 15, rbc 3.88, hgb 10, mch 25.8, mchc 31.4, rdw 16.1, neut# 8.6, lymph 4.0, mono# 2.3, mono% 15.5, sed rate 29. Mom has iga difficiency . Has sch appt with her immunologist to ck levels. Could you help us

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, this could be due to infection and as you have mentioned some infection so that could be the reason of high grade fever and condition can be treated with antibiotic and best option would be Amoxicillin with clavulanic acid dose need to be adjusted according to weight, if this is does not comes around then you need to see the pediatrician, hope this information helps, take care.
