Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
for the last 3 days im experiencing fever bursts in the evening up to 102.8. This seems to start around 4pm. In the morning and afternoon, I seem to be ok with temperatures around 98 or so. I m not experiencing any body aches or any other classic flu symptoms. AT night I sweat so much, I have to change pj s and towel myself down 2-3 times.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of high fever at night which seems to be due to viral or bacterial infection. It could be due to urinary tract infection. Sometimes poor immunity of body exaggerates condition. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit general physician once and get it examined. You should get blood tests redone and start treatment after proper diagnosis. Take diet rich in fresh juices and fruits. You should take complete test. Drink plenty of water and fluids. You should take anti-allergic medication along with proper course of antibiotic along with Ibuprofen. Do tepid sponging as well to lower down fever.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
