Suggest Treatment For High Fever, Cough And Breathing Issues

Hi my son is 7 years old ,he has high fever, cough and breathing problem ,he gas seen two Doctor one is emergency doctor and another one his regular pediatric doctor,,so they prescribe Albuterol and Bromphenir-pseodoephed-DM. So my question is can I give him both medication?

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query your child is suffering from high fever, cough and breathing issues which seems to be due to upper respiratory tract infection. You should give only one medication at a time as both will serve almost the same purpose.

- Take diet rich in fresh juices and fruits.

- Drink plenty of water and fluids.

- Give anti-allergic medication along with proper course of antibiotic if symptoms keeps on persiting.

- Do tepid sponging as well to lower down fever.

- Take multivitamins to booster immunity of body.
