Sir, my Baby boy is 43 days old. He is having fever. Dr. has prescibed wikoryl Drops, 8 drops morning & 8 drops night with breast milk for 3 days. Today is 2nd day but I dont see any improvments. Also he has suggested if doesnt feel good then to give antibiotic named Mox drops 1ml - 0.5ml - 0.5ml. What should I do? shall I start with Antibiotic or wait?

Hello,

It depends what the baby consumes, and passing urine or stools means you may wait and see one more day. But if the baby is drowsy not feeding, always crying means under your doctor advice you may start antibiotics.

If you observe any loose motion after antibiotic therapy means please consult your pediatrician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
