hi...this is Sandy...as a part of our bi-annual health check i realised that my blood sugar level s were very high i re-did the test but the same result persists...both fasting and after 2 hours...i also did another test ( i do not know the name of the blood test) but the result was 8.1%
Dear sandy I can understand your concern. i am very sorry about your condition in my opinion the third test you have done might be Hba1c this is also called as average blood sugar estimation. the Hba1c mor than 6.5% is considered as diabetes I suggest you to go for life style changes like diet and exersise try to maintain BMI at 24.5 and review the test after 3 months in some cases based on severity of blood sugar it's advisable to start medicatin also kindly discuss with your treating doc regards
