Suggest Treatment For Higher Levels Of Createnine

Hi, my mother in law had brain aneurysm and had surgery 3 months back. At the time of surgery doctors found that her createnine levels are high. She is seeing a nephrologist also for this but still she has high levels of createnine 5.7. She has eating disorder and not taking enough food. Does she need a dialysis or kidney transplantaion?

Hi, dear.
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have some kidney disease. You should go for complete kidney function test including GFR and ultrasound abdomen. If your gfr is severely depleted then dialysis is needed. She should drink plenty of water. Lasix can be given to lower creatinine accordingly.
so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
