Suggest Treatment For Hip Pain And Shortness Of Breath

Hi, I work third shift and have problems sleeping. Recently I have had hip pain that I believed to be from working and carrying heavy items. Today I have felt short of breath and now am feeling an empty sensation in my chest. Should I consult my doctor?

Hi,
Thanks for writing in to HCM.
Kindly consult an orthopaedician. Since you are bearing heavy weight for a long duration , it is important to rule out spinal problems that may be causing hip pain. Hence , a lateral Xray of the spine may be required along with clinical examination.

Since you have not stated your age, for shortness of breath kindly consult a physician regarding an Electrocardiogram to rule out cardiac pathologies.

Thanks
