Suggest Treatment For Hip Pain

Hello I have a history of multiple back problems including three herniated disc s In the lumbar region. I have recenlty developed pain whilst sneezing. It is a short shape pain that feels as though it is going around the left hip bone. I know that herniated disc s can cause this. I wanted to know what kind of things can I do to prevent this? if anything.
