Suggest Treatment For Hives And Swelling In The Lips

I have had hives for 6 months every day I have been to my dr ,dermatologists, & allergies dr no one has answer. I have had all kind of test for this still no answer please help if you can my lips swell up as well hives cover my hold body from head to toe thank you. They say I have unknown hives no med help with this

Hi Dear ,

Understanding your concern.

Thanks for your query . Hives are body's response to external allergen ,so it is very important to know about the factor that causes such reaction.

I such cases antihistamine drugs works very well as a first line of treatment . When antihistamine don;t work cortocosteroids or injection of epinephrine should be given .

When there is swelling around mouth like on lips as in your case occur it is known as 'Angioedema' . In case swelling of any facial part occur in person having hives he/she should consult dermatologist without any delay . Doctor may prescribe adrenaline self injector.

For now apply cool compresses to affected area , drink herbal tea 2-3 times a day and try to keep your self at coon place .
