Suggest Treatment For Hives On Legs, arms, chest And Stomach
I ve had hives well little red/pink dots that appear on my legs arms hands chest and feet not my stomach Or back. It comes and goes but I get it everyday for hours. lately they have been getting worse. I ve had this problem for about 6 months. 3 months ago I went to the doctor they said I have an infection somewhere in my body not sure where.... there not itchy either just on my legs and feet.
I have assessed your description and think that problem is due to Urticaria. It is a condition which generally vanishes by itself but relief can be achieved by medication. It remains one of diseases where an exact cause may still defy investigations.
You would be best placed by taking anti allergic medication like Levocetirizine as 5 mg per day. The dose can be later increased or you might add Cimetidine or ranitidine to this drug as that has been my experience to observe that the two work better when combined.
For local use, I recommend hydro-cortisone cream to most of my patients on SOS basis and it helps them a lot. Sometimes steroids are given in this condition but we usually should reserve them for breathing or swallowing difficulties.
I am sure we will soon hear from you about your recovery.
Best wishes1
