Suggest Treatment For Hives On The Stomach

Hi, I am a 19 year old teenager. I have hives on my stomach near my waistline which comes and goes and appears only at night. Roughly once a week. I had hernia removal surgery in July this year using the mesh. Since then, I have experienced swollen lips on two occasions, one today. The swollen lips goes after couple of hours. Both symptoms were not experienced prior to the hernia surgery. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello,
Thanks for the query,
You might have developed acute urticaria.
It is an allergic condition.
Anything including food, cloth, change in climate, pollens etc can cause urticaria.
You need to find out the cause.
Treatment can be with oral anti histamines.
Steroids like prednisolone are also helpful but cannot be used for long.
Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
