Suggest Treatment For Hives On Torso And Groin Area
My son has developed a pretty good case of hives all over the trunk and groin area. What should I apply? I have given him a 25mg benadryl and had him shower. I have triamcinolone acetonide cream (0.1%), lidocaine ointment (5%) and I may have a hydrocortisone cream - I am still looking. He is 8 yo 48 lb. No known allergies.

As per my clinical experience, the hives on torso and groin sound to be in concern with reactionary eruptions to exposure of certain antigen, viral infection of some sort. The local application of steroid cream as Hydrocortisone or Betamethasone is best recommended after cleansing with antiseptic liquid or soap.
