Suggest Treatment For Hole And Black Stuff In It?

I have a small hole in my leg. It has been there for many years. A long time ago I got quite a bit of white stuff out of it. Now I have a hole and it looks like something black in it. I was told by a doctor it was a pore filled with dirt. I have tried to get it out but it does not come out. What do you think it is?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. From history it seems that as this problem is since long it requires evaluation of the case.

There might be few possibilities seeing the nature and site of lesion.

1. Osteomyelitis of bone giving this problem.
2. Vascular insufficiency in leg giving this non healing ulcer.
3. Diabetec foot.

Consult your doctor and discuss about these possibilities as on clinical examination this will give good clue about the lesion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Ok and take care.

Regards,
Dr. Ramesh M.Vachharajani
