Suggest Treatment For Hot Flashes

I have been going through the change having hot flashes. I have been on medicine Estradiol and progesterone to help with the flushes. My problem is that I have not stopped having my periods. I have pretty much had one for a month having about five days off. They are light, but dark in color.

Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Hot flashes come with menopause and respond well to hormone replacement therapy with estradiol and progesterone. These hormones may have as effects regular bleeding as their effects on the uterine lining is just like that in a woman not yet in menopause. It may not pose any problem but for the inconveniences that come with bleeding. You and your Doctor may however evaluate the risks and benefits of this therapy to know the way forward.
Hope this will help you
Best regards
