My father was diagnosed with hurthle cell carcinoma last march with a 5 cm tumor on his thyroid. Which he had removed. He is 77 years old. He is still feeling really bad and he had radiation several months ago. What are his chances of beating this cancer?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
He has hurthal cell cancer and he has gone through surgery and radiotherapy. If tumour is completely removed then chances of survival is high. But he should go for regular follow up yo detect early recurrence of tumour. Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
