Suggest Treatment For Hurting In Throat

Good evening. Well, Just starting today, the right side of my throat, or Eustachian tube, gives a sort of little pinch whenever I swallow liquid such as water or milk etc, as well as solids such as a cookie. Are there any guesses as to what this could be caused by?

Hi,

As per your query you have symptoms of bacterial or viral infection of upper respiratory tract infection. I would suggest you to:
- Do warm saline gargles 3 to 4 times a day:
- Milk boiled with a pinch of turmeric taken at bedtime for can be relieving as it has antimicrobial properties
- You should avoid spicy food
- Drink lukewarm water throughout the day as it can provide relief

You should get ASO titres monitored as if ASO titres are very high means level of infection is high so proper examination is required. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper diagnosis.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
