Suggest Treatment For Hydroencephalytus

I have been diagnosed as having hydroencephalytus. I got some temporary relief from a drain of excess cereable fluid but my doctor's opinion is that surgery insalling a shunt is too risky. Where can I go from here? He is suggesting rehab. Thanks for any advice you can provide.
