can you advice me on my excusive saliva during fasting, very often time I have to wake up in midnight for spitting out otherwise all saliva will flow down to my pillow. also same thing happen on the day but daytime still ok I can go our from desk to sink to spit out. thank you
As per your complain excessive salivation can be felt due to 2 reasons: 1.There is actual rise in saliva production. 2.Due to reduced swallowing.
In your case it is the second case.. In fast if you are not supposed to swallow the Saliva it is a Psychological thought that there is increased salivation.. When you break your fast and then you do not feel excessive salivation the cause is that when you normally swallow you do not remain conscious anymore and you start feeling like normal..
Excessive salivation at night can be many a times felt due to mouth breathing habit..
So don't worry you are completely alright and there is no problem associated with excessive salivation as if you would have excessive salivation you would feel it even when you break your fast also.
If after the fasting also there is too much salivation then you should get checked by a Physician..
Hope this helps..
Thanks and regards.
