Suggest Treatment For Hyperacidity

Hello doctor, Good morning, i am gastric patient, Age: 40 yrs, Weight: 72, Height: 172 cms, Gender: Male. Dear sir i am using daily Nexpro fast 40 from 2 yrs and i am suffering from last 6 years with Thyroid also and also using Thyronorm 75 mg. From long period i am using this Nexpro fast 40 even i miss this tab a single day i suffer big problem like this acid comes to my mouth with taken food and also felling stomach burning the whole day and also not interested to take food that day. so kindly suggest me to how long i have to use this medicine and i want permanent solution and give me relief from this hyperacidity. Note: I am working in Dubai in administration dept.

Nexpro contains esmoprazole which is a proton pump inhibitor in nature. If your hyperacidity problems would not been getting cure by such medicines taking for a long term there may be a chance of h. pylori infection. Clarithromycin, amoxicillin along with esmoprazole will help in combatting h pylori infection after confirming diagnosis by blood elisa or stool tests.
There may be other possibilities like gastrinoma, zollinger ellison syndrome which have to be ruled out clinically and by some investigations.
Taking spicy foods, some medicines, smoking, alcoholism, stress also are the causative factors of hyperacidemia. Changing of lifestyles may help in some cases.

I really appreciate your concern, looking to the hystory given here chances of Helicobacter pylori infection is very likely and in my opinion this can be tried with H.Pylori kit that contained " PPI antiboitic, anti protpzoa drugs" it is complete kit available three druga need to be taken seperatlely three times in day, or else you can try, "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg Domperidone 30 mg" once in day for four week, avoid, coffee, smiking, spicy food perio to bed, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
