Suggest Treatment For Hyperpigmentation On The Cheek
Hi doctor, there is hyperpigmentation on my left cheek and on the consultation from my dermatologist, i used mela glow rich cream. But within three days of its use following the use of sunscreen(ansolar spf30) that affected area got red and after few days it got black and now when i have stopped uaing that cream those marks have become larger prominent and black. Please suggest me what should i do? am so upset.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of hyperpigmentation on the cheek which seems to be due to allergic reaction to any ingradient of ointment. I would suggest you to wash your face with mild soap twice a day and apply kojivit cream , exfoliate your skin twice a week and apply vitamin E oil at night before going to bed . Also protect your skin from excess sun exposure as it can worsen the condition . It condition doesn't get improved in a month then consult dermatologist again for proper examination . Doctor may recommend chemical peeling or dermabrasion depending upon the severity of condition .
Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
