Hello and Welcome to Ask A Doctor Service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice

Perhaps you have a Senile purpura. It results from increased vessel fragility due to connective tissue damage to the dermis caused by ageing. Minor trauma like itching/ scratching may induce a patch of purpura. Some drugs like ecosprin/aspirin which interfere with platelet aggregation also predispose to senile purpura. I suggest you to take an oral vitamin C supplement once a day for a few weeks.

Hope I have answered your query
