Suggest Treatment For Hypertension And Dry Cough

67 y.o. male, Hx hypertension (controlled) & A fib (rate control). Toothache being treated with second round Amoxicillin 500 mg qid x 7 days since 2 days. Onset myalgia, decreased appetite, occasional dry cough, fuzzy head, weakness x 3 days, worse day 2. Recent onset dyspnea on exertion, headache. Pulse 80, resp 24. Low grade or no fever.

Hello,

As you are a known case of hypertension and it is in control, it's good. As you have a myalgia and dry cough, so it may be due to viral infection. Kindly take syp Ascorbyl, tab. Paracetamol for fever and tab. Phenylephrine. Drink lot of water or fluids. Keep your self hydrated. Take proper rest. Avoid contacts with other infected individuals.
