Suggest Treatment For Hypertension With Chest Pain, Shortness Of Breath And Forgetfulness

Recently I have been having a lot of headaches with a feeling of lightheadedness, fogginess, forgetting things like my granddaughters names, I can be driving and totally forget where I am or going. I m under a lot of stress right now, even having chest pains, hard to breath, and dull pains in left arm and shoulder area. I know my blood pressure is spiking. I don t have health insurance, so hesitate to go to hosp.

Thanks for contacting with your health concern and since there is/are group of symptoms thus symptom wise approach has to be followed:

1. It could be normal age old forgetfulness which occur after the age of 50 [please let me know about age] or Alzheimer's disease in which there is memory loss as well as thinking and behavior problem, so an opinion of Neurologist is advised.

PS. also check with your hemoglobin and Vitamin B12 level.

2. regarding cardiovascular problem [blood pressure/chest pain/shortness of breath] one has to be evaluated by a Cardiologist to exclude heart rhythm disorder and by a chest specialist for any lung pathology.

3. could be Depression [stress in history] aggravating the symptoms thus it is best to consult a Physician for systemic examination and management.

4. Take tablet Mentat [Himalaya] which is both an anti hypertensive and mood stabilizer and tablet stressan which helps allay stress/anxiety.
