Suggest Treatment For Hypothyroidism

Male, 43, and 175lbs, and I eat well. I have been Diagnosed with Hypothyroidisms, took the Levothyroxine for the first time, and after 8 hours while at the gym I felt like I had a fever, body sweating, then body chills. It kept up so I stopped the medication, and I have had body chills ever since that 3 days ago, and my Blood Pressure has been about 135/85-140/92. Should I go to the emergency room or just wait until tomorrow(Monday) and see my General Physician?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have hypothyroidism and you have taken levothyroxine. Now you have fever and chills. You should go for complete blood count, test for malaria parasite and urine examination. Many time other infection can leads to this kind of symptoms or it can be due to your drugs. So don't take other dosage of levothyroxine before advise. Consult your treating physician and take treatment accordingly.
