I have hypothyroid and take medication for 15 years. My employer (hospital) has been making me work 3rd shift 3 to 4 times a month. I also work first and second shift. There are times I work all three shifts in 1 week. I am having problems with depression. when I work 3rd shift I only can sleep aprox. 4 hours. I feel like I have a hangover for two days. I work only 56 hrs/2 weeks but I just can t get a grip on this. I miss medications because I only work 3rd shift 1 night then off 1 day then back to first or second shift. I really don t know what to do. I have been working like this for two years and have gained 40lbs. also I am 57 years old
