Suggest Treatment For Hypothyroidism

Hi, I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I ve had blood work done three times. My doctor tells me things are better but I still feel bad and have a lot of symptoms. Here are my last results: T4 9.00 T3 Free: 2.9 T3 Uptake : 31.8 TSH : 1.10 IM TAKING LEVOTHYROXINE 0.05MG 1 PILL A DAY. Can you help me understand why I m still having all the symptoms ?

I understand your concern.
Based on the report on thyroid profile you have furnished, it clearly states that you have 'hypothyroidism'.
It is an underactive thyroid disease in which your thyroid gland does not make enough thyroid hormone.
Hence, thyroid hormone replacement is essential to treat this disorder.
For that reason, you have been given with Tablet.Levothyroixine to be taken everyday. It would help to supplement for the deficit hormone in your body and helps body to function optimally.
It will take certain period of time for the symptoms to be back to normal. Hence regular follow-up with investigations is necessary in such cases.
