Suggest Treatment For Hypothyroidism

My husband suffers from ypothyroidism,he's pulse is always in the 50's and for the past 2 months he's been getting dizzy,and with no energy. The doc did some tests 3 weeks ago and put him in a higher dose of synthroid,which he started 1 week and a half ago. he still feeling sick and dissy all day,he just lays in the couch,iwant to take him to theE.R,should i?

Hello,

I have gone carefully through you query and understand your concern regarding to your husband's health. The low heart rate and the fatigue he has actually may be related to under active thyroid, but it should be severe and untreated to cause such a general situation.

I would recommend to send him to E.R and exclude other cardiac pathologies that cause low heart rate. If everything is normal than wait until 4 weeks for the dose adjustment to improve the symptoms.
