Suggest Treatment For Hypothyroidism, vascular Nodule On Right Lobe

I have a single nodule in my right lobe of my thyroid. It is 16x15x7 mm it has hypoechogic (sp) features, ie taller than wide, I have thyroid numbers that indicate hypothyroidism. The nodule is vascular. My dr sent me to the endo. dr but my apt is not until September. ALso it feels like a thumb is stuck in my throat. and I have a diffuse inhomogenious texture to thyroid. I have had the ultrasound. What is the Endo dr. going to differently than just look at it? Should I expect an oh let s biopsy or well it s nothing to worry about

A single vascular nodule in thyroid should always be investigated throughly i will recommend you a usg guided FNAC (Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology) examination in order to correctly diagnose the lesion.
