Suggest Treatment For Inability To Speak In Children With Hearing Loss

my husband and I have adopted a girl that her mother told us it was caused by cytlmegalo virus. Do not know how to spell the word? she was carrying the baby and at 2 weeks before delivery she contacted the virus. the child was adopted by us at 2 and she is also deaf and retarded. she is no 18 no speech and has cp started walking at 9. she has had a cochlear put in at 5 but still no speech. Is there any hope that she may speak one day in her future. We did not expect her to walk but she did at 9 years old.
